About Us: We are representing a family owned general contractor that specializes within commerical, industrial, healthcare and civil construction. With a nationwide presense they are actively growing out their preconstruction team and looking to bring on a new manager to help assist with upcoming projects.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Lead the preconstruction phase for commercial construction projects up to $10M.
Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project scopes and budgets.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, schedules, and feasibility studies.
Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather necessary information.
Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Manage the bidding process, including soliciting and evaluating subcontractor and supplier proposals.
Present preconstruction plans and estimates to clients and stakeholders, providing clear explanations and justifications.
Work closely with the project management team to ensure seamless transition from preconstruction to construction phase.
Monitor and report on preconstruction activities and results to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction management, with a focus on commercial projects up to $10M or 8+ years within estimating/project management.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
