Project Manager - Electrical Components (Water/Wastewater Treatment Facilities)
Location: Boise, ID
Salary: $120,000- $200,000 + Bonus(s)
Job Summary:
This general contarctor is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join their team, focusing on electrical components in water and wastewater treatment facility projects. As a key player in their operations, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage electrical components and systems for water and wastewater treatment facility projects from initiation to completion.
- Oversee all project phases, including planning, execution, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations.
- Provide technical expertise and resolve any electrical issues that arise during project execution.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including progress reports and cost estimates.
Experience Needed:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in electrical systems, preferably in water/wastewater treatment projects.
- Proven experience in managing complex, large-scale projects with electrical components.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations related to water/wastewater treatment facilities.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, and resource management.
- Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- PMP or similar Project Management certification (preferred).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems design and implementation in industrial settings.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
