About the Role:
As a Water/Wastewater Project Manager, you'll be responsible for managing complex municipal and utility infrastructure projects from planning through construction. You'll guide multidisciplinary teams and serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders. Your ability to coordinate across teams, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality solutions will directly impact the communities we serve.
You'll also play a vital role in mentoring junior staff, managing project budgets, and shaping long-term relationships with clients-all while being empowered to grow into a leadership role.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field.
Certification: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Nebraska (or ability to obtain quickly).
Experience:
8+ years in water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects.
Proven experience managing large-scale design and construction efforts.
Experience with permitting, regulatory coordination, and municipal clients.
Skills & Traits:
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, and QA/QC processes.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
