Business Development Transportation Leader
A top client across the US, and widely recognized as a top performing Civil Engineering firm in the Midwest is looking to expand their team with a new Business Development Leader for their Kansas City office. You will lead both the Kansas and Missouri practice. You will spearhead the development of a business strategy aimed at driving sales growth with current clients, while also expanding the client base across the broader Kansas/Missouri region.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop new business and main relationships with clients from the two states.
* Develop and manage client teams that include project managers, national leaders, as well as junior staff to assist in the strategic growth plans.
* Act as a technical or project lead, as needed, on large-scale projects of critical importance and strategic value.
* Actively be involved in professional societies in which clients or potential clients are members.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
* PE license in Missouri
* Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent.
* Progressive project management and business development experience with transportation engineering projects, existing relationships with the Missouri Department of Transportation.
