Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Lead Roadway Engineer to oversee and manage roadway design projects in Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a focus on roadway design and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage roadway design projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and staff.
- Prepare and present project reports and documentation.
- Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in roadway design and project management.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal roadway design standards and regulations.
