W/WW Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Water/Wastewater Engineer - Project Manager to join our Houston-based team. In this role, you will lead the planning, design, and management of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate brings both strong technical capabilities and proven leadership in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage water and wastewater projects from concept through construction, including pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, lift stations, and related infrastructure.
Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
Prepare and review engineering reports, calculations, cost estimates, and technical specifications.
Oversee the preparation of plans, permitting documentation, and bid packages.
Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain and grow client relationships through consistent communication and excellent service delivery.
Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing, client presentations, and identifying new project opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's preferred).
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
6+ years of progressive experience in water/wastewater engineering, with at least 2 years in a project management role.
Strong understanding of municipal utility systems and Texas regulatory requirements.
Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Bentley systems.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Experience with Houston-area municipal clients or utilities is a strong plus.
