Distech Programmer
Job Summary:
Our clients are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in building automation systems (BAS) and HVAC control systems, specifically with expertise in Distech Controls products and software. This role is crucial for programming, configuring, and troubleshooting BAS to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming and Configuration: Develop and implement control sequences for HVAC and building automation systems using Distech Controls software.
- System Integration: Integrate various building systems (HVAC, lighting, security) to ensure seamless operation and communication.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve issues related to BAS and HVAC control systems, providing technical support to field technicians and clients.
- Project Management: Assist in planning and executing BAS projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all programming and configuration work, including system diagrams and user manuals.
- Training: Provide training to clients and team members on the operation and maintenance of BAS.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in BAS programming, with a focus on Distech Controls products.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EC-gfxProgram, Niagara Framework, and other relevant software. Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies.
- Certifications: Distech Controls certification preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with clients, engineers, and field technicians.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues effectively.
