Job Description:
We have a current opportunity for an EPC Solar Engineering Manager on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Tokyo. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of solar energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering, procurement, and construction phases of solar projects.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and construction.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Prepare and present project reports and documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EPC project management, preferably in the solar energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of solar energy technologies and EPC processes.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale solar projects.
- Professional engineering certification.
- PMP or other project management certification.
