In this role, you will manage the design and delivery of innovative water resource projects that protect and enhance our environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical aspects of various water resource projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Develop project work plans, budget projections, and effectively deploy resources.
- Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and technical support personnel.
- Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
- Participate in contract bidding, provide construction observation, and resolve design conflicts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, governmental agencies, and strategic partners.
- Engage in business development activities and contribute to proposal writing and interviews.
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in stormwater modeling, floodplain analysis, hydraulic design, and drainage systems.
- Experience with cost estimating, bid phase assistance, construction administration, and general construction methods.
- Competence in fundamental civil engineering design principles.
- Familiarity with relevant engineering software and tools, including AutoCAD Civil3D, HEC-RAS, SWMM, ArcGIS
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water resources engineering.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
