The Opportunity
A well-established, multidisciplinary firm specializing in planning, engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture is seeking a Senior Development Manager to join their Chicago Regional Office. This is a chance to play a pivotal role in driving high-impact projects while collaborating with industry leaders.
What You'll Do:
- Lead & Supervise - Oversee design and engineering teams, ensuring seamless project execution across various markets.
- Client Engagement - Be the main point of contact, fostering strong relationships and delivering top-tier service.
- Project Management - Prioritize multiple deadlines, manage contracts, and ensure project profitability.
- Regulatory Expertise - Stay ahead of state, county, and municipal land development regulations.
- Mentorship - Guide and develop junior staff, strengthening the team's expertise.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field (P.E., Landscape Architect, or Planner certification is a plus).
- 10+ years of experience in development services, with a proven ability to lead projects and teams.
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheets, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication skills across in-person, virtual, and written formats.
- Willingness to travel across the U.S. as needed.
