Job Description: Are you a visionary leader with a passion for water resources engineering? We are seeking an experienced Water Practice Builder to join our dynamic team in Denver, CO. In this role, you will spearhead the growth and development of our water practice, leveraging your expertise to drive business development, client relationships, and project execution. Your work will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of water resource management and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic growth and development of the water practice.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and client relationships.
  • Oversee the planning, design, and management of complex water resource projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers and scientists.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and technical reports.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in water resources engineering, with a focus on business development and project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and growing a water practice.
  • Strong technical expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, water supply planning, and stormwater management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
