Job Summary: We are looking to bring on a technology specialist for building systems design.
Systems to be Designed:
- Structured cabling
- Telecommunications rooms
- Access control
- Video surveillance
- Intercom
- Outside plant fiber
- Clock systems
- Audio/Video design
Training provided; experience in all areas not required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a Registered Communications Distribution Designer.
- Conduct site work and design technology systems.
- Prepare drawings for competitive bidding.
- Monitor construction progress through site visits.
- Interact with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computer applications.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and strong work ethic.
- Construction industry experience helpful but not required.
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in technology or equivalent.
- Technology certifications are a plus.
