Senior Engineer - Land Development
Company Overview:
A regional engineering consulting firm is looking to grow its office in Las Vegas, NV by hiring a senior project engineer to join the Land Development team. The Civil Engineer will provide direction to design staff and oversee overall project design, coordination, and oversight.
About the Role
In the Senior Engineer position, you will operate under limited guidance to perform complex engineering tasks and supervise a small group of engineers. You may also serve as a project manager for one major project or several smaller projects, supervising other technical support staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of engineering analysis, designs, and calculations for various public and private projects.
- Preparation of construction plans, submittal reviews, RFIs, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Provide direction to design staff.
- Oversee project design, coordination, and oversight.
- Coordinate with clients and municipality staff for successful project completion.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D is a plus but not required.
- Valid Professional Engineer license in the State of Nevada is preferred
- Familiarity with local municipality standards and staff is preferred.
