Project Manager
Job Summary: The Land Development Project Manager will oversee and manage land development projects from inception to completion. This role requires a seasoned professional with 15+ years of experience in land development and a proven track record in business development. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the land development process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage land development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals.
- Planning and Design: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and planners to develop project plans, designs, and specifications.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning, environmental, and safety standards.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Reporting: Prepare and present project reports, updates, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in land development project management.
- Proven experience in business development, including client acquisition and relationship management.
- Strong knowledge of land development processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
