About the Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an experienced Department Manager in Geotechnical Engineering to join a rapidly growing company based in Charleston, SC. This is an exciting opportunity to work under a recognized experts in the field and be part of a collaborative, laid-back environment with a focus on teamwork and innovation.
As the company continues to expand, they are looking to bring on a dedicated leader with a minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably with experience in transportation and commercial work. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the company while working in an office where communication and collaboration are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects within the department
Collaborate closely with team members and other departments to ensure project success
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff
Manage and execute geotechnical investigations and design solutions
Develop and maintain client relationships while ensuring project timelines and budgets are met
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering
Strong leadership and management skills
Ability to work well in a collaborative environment
Experience with transportation and commercial projects is preferred
P.E. license required
