Job Description: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial, residential, municipal and educational work, with experience in existing work, renovation, historic preservation & construction administration. You will play a key role in transforming existing buildings into functional, sustainable spaces while maintaining their historical integrity. This role will also entail site work, conducting inspections and surveys, project management and team mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage architectural projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multi-disciplinary engineers to ensure project success.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Prepare detailed architectural plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct site investigations and surveys

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the architecture industry. Existing building work preferred.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Passion for community-focused projects and sustainable design.
  • Experience with dealing with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.
