Our client, a respected multidisciplinary engineering firm with a strong regional presence, is seeking a Mid-Level Structural Engineer to join their Tacoma office. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values technical excellence and innovative problem-solving.
What You'll Do:
As a Structural Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering structural design solutions for a variety of industrial projects, including manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and utility infrastructure. You'll work closely with in-house civil, mechanical, and electrical teams, as well as external stakeholders, to provide integrated engineering solutions that support the firm's mission of delivering quality, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis and design for industrial buildings and facilities
Prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and calculations
Conduct site visits and assessments as needed
Coordinate with internal disciplines and external consultants
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
PE license or ability to obtain within 6-12 months
5-10 years of relevant structural engineering experience
Strong experience with industrial projects
Proficiency in structural analysis software (RISA, ETABS, SAP2000, etc.)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
