What the Team Needs:

Our client is looking for a Water/Wastewater Engineer to manage and support water and wastewater conveyance projects, such as water/sewer lines, pump stations, and storage tanks. This role will involve technical planning, design, and implementation of water/wastewater systems, as well as supporting junior engineers and managing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support design and planning for water/wastewater conveyance systems including gravity sewers, force mains, water lines, pump stations, and storage tanks.

  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, including cost estimates and scope of work.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles.

  • Maintain and grow relationships with clients, ensuring projects meet their expectations and needs.

  • Occasionally travel to project sites across the United States as needed.

What Will Make You a Great Fit:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field) from an ABET-accredited institution.

  • 5+ years of experience working on water and wastewater conveyance systems, including planning, design, and implementation.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain one.

  • Experience working with water/sewer lines, pump stations, gravity sewers, and related systems.

  • Strong technical skills with a focus on practical, cost-effective solutions.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience mentoring junior staff and working with clients.

  • Desired: Experience with hydraulic modeling tools like Innovyze InfoSWMM or Bentley WaterCAD/GEMs.
