Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer with 10+ years of civil engineering experience to lead and manage multi-disciplinary water resources projects. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in civil design, project management, and client relations, with a focus on developing long-term relationships and delivering innovative, high-quality solutions. This leadership position offers the opportunity to manage significant projects and work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead water resources engineering projects, managing staff, project schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, agencies, and subconsultants.
- Provide civil engineering analysis, modeling, and calculations for water resources projects.
- Oversee the production of construction drawings, specifications, alternatives analyses, and construction cost estimates.
- Conduct site inspections and evaluations, including occasional overnight travel.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution and problem-solving.
- Provide designer support services during construction activities and assist with redline production.
- Assist with various engineering-related tasks as needed to ensure project success.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10 years of civil engineering experience, with a preference for consulting experience, especially in water resources.
- P.E. License in ID or ability to attian in ID
- Strong technical expertise in water resources design, including the use of design codes, modeling, and specification writing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to perform periodic travel for site visits and project inspections.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with water resources design and projects, including hydrology, hydraulics, flood control, and water quality.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Field experience, including on-site inspections and evaluations
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, stakeholders, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to providing technical solutions that meet client needs.
