Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Denver, CO. In this role, you will lead geotechnical projects, provide technical expertise, and mentor junior engineers, while contributing to the continued growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage geotechnical investigations, analyses, and design projects.
- Perform advanced geotechnical analyses, including slope stability, settlement, and foundation design.
- Oversee field and laboratory testing programs to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.
- Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or ability to obtain within six months.
- Minimum of 8 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Expertise in geotechnical design software (e.g., GeoStudio, PLAXIS, LPILE).
- Strong knowledge of local geology and soil conditions in the Denver area.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
