Title: Water Resources Project Manager
Location: Denver, Colorado
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000
Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Project Manager to join our Water Resources team in Denver, Colorado. This role offers a chance to work with a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to delivering top-tier services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design and execution of water resources projects, ensuring profitability and quality.
- Oversee technical aspects and provide guidance to engineers and technical staff.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Monitor project metrics such as utilization, backlog, and receivables.
- Ensure timely and accurate project accounting and invoicing.
- Implement and uphold QA/QC procedures.
- Participate in contract bidding, construction observation, and review of submittals and RFIs.
- Resolve design and construction issues effectively.
- Represent the firm in client and agency meetings.
- Prepare proposals and lead client interviews.
- Mentor and develop team members.
- Foster relationships with clients and strategic partners.
- Drive business development and marketing efforts.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions.
- Uphold company values and lead by example.
Required Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage and direct resources effectively.
- Proven track record in managing profitable drainage design projects.
- Knowledge of alternative delivery methods.
- Expertise in stormwater modeling software and drainage facility design.
- Comprehensive understanding of the drainage project lifecycle.
- Experience in construction phase services.
- Ability to prepare proposals and develop marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in Colorado or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in water resources and stormwater modeling/design.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
