Title: Water Resources Project Manager
Location: Denver, CO
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000
Are you an experienced professional ready to lead impactful water resource projects? We're looking for a dedicated and skilled Water Resources Project Manager to join our team and help shape the future of sustainable water management.
What You'll Do
- Manage and oversee water resource projects, including floodplain management, hydrology studies, stormwater systems, and watershed planning.
- Lead project teams, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery that meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Conduct technical analyses, review designs, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies, serving as the primary point of contact for project matters.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Assist with proposal preparation, budgeting, and resource allocation.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in water resource engineering
- A bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or ability to obtain within 6 months of starting
- Expertise in hydrology and hydraulics modeling tools (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM).
- Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and clients effectively.
- A strong understanding of water-related environmental regulations.
