Responsibilities:
Design light frame wood structures and commercial buildings
Utilize Revit and Structural Modeling Software
Manage client interactions as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures from an accredited program
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
Familiarity with common structural analysis software
Knowledge of International and Residential Building Codes
Extensive design experience with wood, concrete, steel, and masonry (post-tensioned concrete experience is a plus)
Passionate about engineering and self-motivated
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Adaptability to different project types and tasks daily
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Passed the Professional Engineering examination (preferred)
Ability to perform physical field work (e.g., climbing ladders, visual observations from rooftops/scaffolding/confined spaces, using precision instruments)
Licensure and Certification: Professional Engineer (required for candidates with 4+ years of experience)
