Job Title: Director of Environmental Practices (Remote)
Salary Expectations: $120,000 - $180,000 base salary

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Environmental Practices to join our team in a remote capacity. This leadership role requires prior California experience and certification (PG or PE) and involves overseeing multiple projects, driving business development, and maintaining client relationships.
Location: Remote; Home office based in Irvine, CA
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage environmental projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee a team of environmental professionals and consultants, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement strategies for business development, expanding our client base and services.
- Conduct client meetings, proposals, and negotiations to secure new projects and maintain existing relationships.
- Ensure projects adhere to budgets and deadlines while meeting client expectations.
- Stay current with environmental regulations and industry trends, integrating best practices into our services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive environmental solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field.
- California Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification required.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in environmental consulting, with specific experience in California.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering multiple environmental projects.
- Strong business development skills, with experience in client acquisition and retention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading and motivating teams.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining productivity and engagement.
