Senior Renewable Energy Engineer
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Engineer specializing in renewable energy design, focusing on solar, wind, battery storage, and energy infrastructure.
Role Overview:
- Join a multidisciplinary team of engineers and consultants.
- Focus on engineering design and project management for large-scale renewable energy projects.
- Collaborate with various disciplines to deliver quality products.
- Location: Hybrid Flexible out of Dallas, TX
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in electrical substation, solar, BESS, and wind projects.
- Design high voltage control systems, system integration, and SCADA support.
- Integrate equipment from vendors like SEL, GE, Eaton, Schneider, Siemens.
- Configure and commission Wind/Solar/BESS plant controllers.
- Prepare specifications and cost estimates for SCADA equipment.
- Program HMI and SCADA for substation interfaces.
- Support field construction and commissioning teams.
- Design and commission IEC 61850 protocol relays.
- Create network diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
- Assist with RTU configuration and maintain NERC-CIP compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology.
- Minimum of 10 years of related work experience.
- Previous Data Center Design experience
