Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support growth and project demands within the private sector, focusing on industrial projects that address complex water challenges through innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and oversee engineering work on large, complex projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Negotiate critical issues with senior staff from other organizations.
- Supervise multi-disciplinary teams and manage several projects concurrently.
- Prepare proposals, conduct client interviews, and negotiate contracts.
- Drive business development and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Mentor and train internal staff, directing vendors and subconsultants as needed.
- Participate in professional associations and present technical papers.
- Recruit new employees and assist in the selection process.
- Travel as required.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
- 15+ years of experience in water and wastewater project management, emphasizing hydraulics and treatment processes.
- Proven experience managing projects through all phases, with full responsibility for budget and quality.
- Knowledge of water, wastewater, stormwater, and reuse systems, including design and master planning.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective in team environments.
- Experience with business development, proposals, and interviews.
- Proficient in project management software, including Revit and AutoCAD (3D).
