Position: Public Works Estimator
Salary: $120,000- $160,000 + Bonuses

Position Summary:
As a Public Works Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase of their projects. Your expertise will guide their budgeting and project planning processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for public works projects using HCSS software.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary data.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Conduct site visits and assess project requirements.
- Develop and maintain estimating databases for historical project costs.
- Provide support during the bidding process, including clarifying project requirements and addressing potential risks.
Experience Needed:
- Proven experience as an estimator in public works or related fields.
- Proficiency in HCSS software for estimating and project management.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and materials.
- Familiarity with local regulations and industry standards in public works projects.
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience, particularly in public infrastructure projects.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
