Salary: $90,000- $120,000 + Bonus(s)

Position Summary:
As a Heavy Civil Project Engineer, you will support the project management team by coordinating all engineering-related aspects of heavy civil construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and management of heavy civil construction projects, including roads, bridges, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including plans, specifications, and change orders.
- Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess project progress and compliance with safety standards.
- Support the procurement process by evaluating subcontractor proposals and coordinating with suppliers.
- Analyze project data and assist in preparing reports for stakeholders and management.
Experience Needed:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering or similar roles within the heavy civil construction industry.
- Familiarity with heavy civil construction methods and practices.
- Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and engineering software.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and safety standards.
