Job Title: Hydraulic Modeler/Planner

Job Description: As a Hydraulic Modeler/Planner, you will be responsible for developing and analyzing hydraulic models to support water resource planning and management. You will work on a variety of projects, including flood risk assessments, stormwater management, and water supply planning. Your expertise will contribute to the design and implementation of effective water management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and calibrate hydraulic models for various water resource projects.
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support project planning and design.
- Prepare technical reports, model documentation, and presentations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and environmental scientists.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
- Participate in public meetings and stakeholder engagement activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hydraulic modeling and water resource planning.
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, InfoWorks, MIKE).
- Strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
