Lead Substation Civil Engineer
Location: United States (preferably located in EST or CST time zones)
Experience: Minimum 7 years of direct structural engineering experience
License: Professional Engineer (P.E.) License required
Responsibilities:
- Lead civil engineering aspects for substation projects, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Provide technical guidance to a team of engineers and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop detailed designs, conduct structural analyses, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integrated substation designs.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct site inspections.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with civil engineering components.
- Manage budgets and timelines for civil engineering aspects of projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in civil engineering, specializing in substations.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License is mandatory.
- Proficient in relevant design software.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
