Job Title: Registered Professional Land Surveyor
Location: Houston (on-site)
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute project survey plans.
- Request necessary personnel and equipment.
- Orient and assign tasks to survey personnel, ensuring they understand documentation requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate survey personnel performance, providing guidance and discipline as needed.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, managing changes in scope, schedule, and budget.
- Process and review survey data for accuracy.
- Maintain documentation control and communicate progress with the Project Manager/Client Representative.
- Review and approve survey personnel time and expense reports.
Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in Land Surveying, Cartography, or related field.
- RPLS registered in Texas, with potential for other states.
- TxDOT experience.
- Minimum five years of surveying experience, including supervisory roles.
- Knowledge of cross-country utility surveying methods.
- Experience with GPS survey methods and electronic data collection.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
