Job Description:
We have a current opportunity for an EV Field Service Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Tokyo. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair EV charging stations.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of EV charging equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to EV charging systems.
- Provide on-site technical support and assistance to customers.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed service reports and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service engineering or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of EV charging technologies and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
