Job Description: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in estimating underground wet utility projects and/or water treatment construction projects. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project plans, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze project plans and specifications.
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive bids.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
Conduct site visits as needed to gather necessary information for estimates.
Utilize estimating software and tools to prepare estimates.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience estimating underground wet utility projects and/or water treatment construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
Experience with InEight Software is a major plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
