Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of hyperscale data center construction projects in Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical data center construction or construction management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the electrical construction phases of hyperscale data center projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and vendors, to achieve project goals and objectives.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and risk management.
Oversee the procurement of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety on all project sites.
Provide regular project status updates and reports to senior management and clients, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction project management, preferably in the data center industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations, with a focus on hyperscale data centers.
Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex projects, with a strong emphasis on project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
