Job Title: Construction Quality Control Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Quality Control Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our construction projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You will manage a team of Quality Control Inspectors/Technicians, oversee the inspection process, and work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve any quality-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and project specifications.
- Lead and mentor a team of Quality Control Inspectors/Technicians, providing training and support to maintain quality standards across all project phases.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to promptly address quality concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, tests, and quality assurance activities, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- Stay informed about industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve the quality, reliability, and performance of installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the quality control team.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in construction quality control, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven experience in quality control management on large-scale construction projects, ideally in the renewable energy or solar industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), Six Sigma, or similar credentials are a plus.
