Position Overview:
The Commercial Roofing Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of roofing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining client relationships and ensuring safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of commercial roofing projects, from pre-construction to closeout.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality control to meet company and client expectations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Conduct site visits, oversee installations, and troubleshoot project challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and progress updates for management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience in commercial roofing project management, including flat roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, etc.).
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgets, and scheduling.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Local Law compliance and NYC roofing regulations.
- OSHA certification or other relevant safety training.
