Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeling Specialist to join our team. This role involves creating and managing complex digital models and technical drawings to support various engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in 3D modeling, drafting, and coordination, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine intelligent 3D models and detailed drawings based on project specifications and design levels.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and manufacturer specifications to create accurate design documents.
- Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members in modeling, drafting, and design development.
- Assess material requirements and perform calculations to support project planning and execution.
- Ensure model consistency, accuracy, and compliance with quality control standards.
- Coordinate design efforts across multiple disciplines to maintain seamless project execution.
- Assist in project planning by offering conceptual input and supporting field assignments when necessary.
- Manage technical documentation, including plotting, transmittals, file organization, and drawing distribution.
- Establish and maintain design criteria, ensuring alignment with engineering principles, industry standards, and construction procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Extensive experience in 3D modeling, drafting, and intelligent design software.
- Strong technical background in design coordination and project documentation.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex technical information with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design-related software applications.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Prior experience in industries such as industrial processing, manufacturing, or infrastructure development is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required based on project needs.
