RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to use basic hand tools for their respective purpose, including but not limited to:
- strippers
- cutters
- wrenches
- socket sets
- soldering gun
- Ability to read wiring schematics including Control, Audio, Video, Data, and Power
- Ability to identify and terminate common connectors used in the AV/Data Field. Including but not limited to:
- RJ-45
- XLR
- 3.5 mm
- CATV
- Terminal strips
- Ability to use installation tools:
- Multimeter
- Impedance Meter
- Fox&Hound
- CAT5 Tester
- Video Test Pattern Generator
- Required to install audiovisual systems and their components, including but not limited to:
- Connect systems per approved system schematics and manage drawings in the field
- Read architectural plans:
- floor plans
- ceiling layouts
- cable pull schedules
- Safely mount devices on walls:
- Speakers
- cameras
- displays
- transmitters/receivers
- Must have familiarity with standard industry equipment, including but not limited to:
- Crestron
- ClearOne
- Extron
- Biamp
- Cisco
- Polycom
- LCD& DLP Projectors
- LCD Displays
- Required to load Programming code and DSP Files and make minor modifications when necessary.
- Required to "point to point" test integrated systems to ensure proper signal flow.
- Must have fundamental Networking skills, including but not limited to:
- Setting IP addresses
- Command Line Prompts.
- Must be able to professionally interact with clients on a daily basis
- Must have the capability to comply with all safety rules and regulations required by clients for site visitation.
- Perform Client Training when applicable
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Driver's License
- 2-5 Years of Industry Experience
- OSHA-30 Certification
- AVIXA CTS Certification
