Job Summary
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the planning, design, and program management of wastewater and recycled water systems.
- Oversee client service management, strengthen existing client relationships, and develop new business opportunities.
- Provide vision and leadership for growing the wastewater practice, including quality and knowledge management.
- Mentor entry-level professionals and support recruitment and growth efforts.
Job Duties
- Concurrently manage a variety of civil engineering Public Works projects.
- Track project scope, budgets, and schedules to ensure contract commitments and profitability.
- Conduct business development and create proposals and presentations.
- Effectively manage quality assurance and quality control.
- Use technical knowledge to prepare PS&E for transportation, storm drain, and water quality BMPs.
- Interface with clients on project coordination and design, ensuring quality standards and client satisfaction.
- Direct and mentor project engineers and design engineers on technical matters and procedures.
- Act as a technical resource to staff.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- P.E. registration
- 10+ years of experience in wastewater and recycled water facilities planning, design, and construction.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proposal and report writing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deliver on time and within budget, and mentor team members.
- Active participation in professional associations and knowledge of industry trends.
- Enthusiasm for innovation and problem-solving in complex project environments.
