Job Title: Traveling Construction Superintendent

Location: Dallas, TX

Job Type: Full-time

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects across various locations, primarily based in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee daily construction activities at multiple job sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage site teams, including subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain an accident-free work environment.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets or exceeds quality standards and project specifications.
Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and consultants, facilitating clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably with experience in traveling roles.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid).
Travel: Willingness to travel extensively, with extended overnight stays as required.
Certifications: OSHA certification and other relevant safety training.
