Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee topographic, ALTA, construction staking, and boundary survey projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise field survey teams to ensure project accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
  • Review and prepare survey deliverables, including field notes, plats, and maps.
  • Ensure projects are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations and client requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior survey staff.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage survey equipment, software, and resources, coordinating maintenance and upgrades as needed.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new project opportunities and supporting proposals.
  • Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification or ability to obtain in Wyoming.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in surveying, including a strong background in topographic, ALTA, construction staking, and boundary surveys.
  • Experience in managing surveying teams and projects.
  • Proficiency in survey software such as Civil 3D, MicroStation, or other relevant programs.
  • Strong understanding of survey methodologies, equipment, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
