Professional Land Surveyor
A leading civil consulting firm is on the lookout for a seasoned Land Surveyor to lead its surveying and mapping division in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification in Wisconsin and possess at least 10 years of professional land surveying experience, including a minimum of 2 years in project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee a range of surveying and mapping projects, including topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and construction staking.
- Employ advanced technologies such as LiDAR mapping, drones, GPS, and traditional surveying methods.
- Manage daily operations, coordinating both field survey activities and office tasks like field note reduction, traverse adjustments, and topographic map preparation.
- Advocate for and integrate cutting-edge Survey, Mapping, and Geomatics technologies.
Qualifications:
- PLS certification in Wisconsin.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional land surveying experience.
- At least 2 years of project management experience.
- Experience in business development is a plus.
