Senior Electrical Engineer - Solar & Battery Storage
Looking for mid-senior/lead-level Electrical Engineers interested in joining a very stable, well-reputed and collaborative team. This position will support the firm's renewable energy engineering group, working on a diverse portfolio of utility-scale solar projects across the US with the ability to work fully remote and/or report out of one of their office locations.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:
- Leading electrical design, engineering or studies for utility-scale PV, BESS and interconnection substation projects.
- Collaborating with a team of other engineers, internal & external teams.
- Reviewing grounding studies & energy modeling studies being performed with PVSyst and other software.
- Experience with ETAP is an added bonus - if you can build electrical models and perform short circuit, load flow & arc flash studies that is a huge plus.
The Senior Electrical Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related.
- 5+ years of electric utility power, renewable energy experience.
- Expertise with applicable softwares such as AutoCAD, ETAP, PVSyst, PSCAD, etc.
- Experience working directly with US based utility-scale solar projects.
- PE License is preferred, EIT is a plus.
