SCADA Project Engineer (Solar)
Our client is a US based power generation provider that's recognized for delivering clean energy across the country. Join a team that owns, operates, and develops their own projects across the solar, battery storage, and EV space. Our team is bi-coastal, we service customers & businesses across the country when it comes to deploying clean power.
We are currently looking to hire an experienced SCADA Engineer to join our solar team. This position has flexibility to sit 100% remote.
Overview of position:
- Support design and configuration of SCADA systems.
- Develop and implement SCADA software applications.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate SCADA systems with other automation and control systems.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users.
- Document system configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience with SCADA.
- Previous solar project experience is required.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Specialty in at least two of the following areas (protective relays/SEL products, trouble shooting, field support, firewalls/networks/VPN structures.
- Knowledge of industry protocols such as Modbus and DNP3.
