About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of major water infrastructure projects across Victoria. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management capabilities, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a deep understanding of water infrastructure, including treatment plants, pipelines, and pump stations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of water infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules while ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements
  • Engage with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with community and environmental needs
  • Oversee contractors and consultants, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and performance benchmarks.
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to water infrastructure projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in managing water infrastructure projects, ideally within the Australian market.
  • Strong knowledge of water treatment, pipelines, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with contract management and procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian water regulations and environmental standards.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
