Project Engineer
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet technical specifications, budget constraints, and timelines. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical engineering projects, including planning, design, and execution.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and opportunities.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials and equipment.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are a plus.
