Job Title: Procurement Specialist - Medical Equipment Planning

Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 DOE + Benefits

Location: Remote (U.S.-based) with occasional travel to project sites


Primary Responsibilities:

A leading medical equipment planning consultancy is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join their team. This role will support the delivery of new build and renovation projects across the healthcare sector, including laboratories, ambulatory centers, and acute care hospitals.

Working closely with a team of experienced equipment planners, the Procurement Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Managing end-to-end procurement of medical equipment and devices for healthcare projects

  • Collaborating with internal planners and external vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective equipment acquisition

  • Reviewing technical specifications and project scopes to align purchasing strategies with clinical and operational needs

  • Coordinating purchase orders, delivery schedules, and installations across multiple active project sites

  • Supporting RFPs, contract negotiations, and vendor performance evaluations

  • Maintaining clear documentation, tracking procurement milestones, and resolving supply chain issues


Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally within healthcare or medical equipment

  • Strong understanding of medical device categories and vendors

  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite

  • Experience working alongside clinical planners or within hospital environments is a strong plus
