Position Overview: Our client is seeking a highly experienced Principal / Discipline Lead Civil Engineer to join their team in Perth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure, mining, or council work, with significant consulting experience. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the growth and success of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance in infrastructure, mining, and government projects.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Mentor and support the professional development of junior engineers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure, mining, or council work.
- Proven consulting experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
