The company is currently seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join the team and contribute to a significant land development project in San Antonio, TX. Position Overview:
They are looking for a Project Engineer to support and manage various aspects of a land development project. The ideal candidate will have a background in civil engineering or land development and will be involved in everything from initial site design to project execution. The role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients and the project team, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency throughout the project life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, design, and execution of land development projects, ensuring that they meet project specifications and client requirements.
Support the Project Manager in coordinating tasks, timelines, and resources.
Prepare and review technical designs, site plans, and project specifications.
Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
Monitor project progress, identifying potential issues, and assisting with problem resolution.
Provide support in budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
Conduct site inspections and ensure the quality of work performed aligns with project goals and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
4 years of experience in land development, civil engineering, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Auto CAD, Civil 3D, and other design software.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Understanding of local San Antonio and Texas land development regulations is a plus.
- PE licensed or ability to receive in 6 months.
