A well-established and growing general contractor specializing in heavy & highway, site & civil construction, and paving is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join their dynamic team. This contractor's expertise spans a wide range of services including site & building excavation, paving, concrete, masonry, demolition, water & sewer line installation, and storm drainage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate estimates for all aspects of heavy & highway, site & civil, and paving projects.
- Manage and coordinate project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Oversee project teams and subcontractors to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.
- Review and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and project proposals.
- Track project progress and address any issues or changes that arise during execution.
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and engineers to meet project goals.
- Maintain and foster relationships with clients and subcontractors to ensure future project success.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager and Estimator in heavy & highway, site & civil, and paving projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, including excavation, paving, concrete, masonry, demolition, water & sewer lines, and storm drainage.
- Excellent knowledge of estimating software and project management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
